If you use your borescope to tell you when you need IOSSO , and to determine just how many strokes it takes to get the job done, with proper technique and close attention to detail I don't think that a barrel would suffer any damage. A friend who shoots LT32 in a PPC went through three barrels (I think) to normal accuracy life, with no ill effects, but he is smart enough to do everything as he should. His routine was every 100 rounds to stay ahead of any problem with hard carbon. People who are sloppy with their rod work, and figure if some is good more is better may want to reconsider their method when using any abrasive. Also, I don't have much good to say about cheap bore guides. If you find that you bore scope shows you a train wreck of black stuff, then it gets trickier.How often can you use IOSO before any damage occures?
