Bore cleaner

Wipe out works wonders for me. I started using it with my 17 rem, and now use it on everything. Very easy to use!
+1 on the suggestion to use Wipe Out.

However, I use it in conjunction with the solvent accelerator from the same company. Together, they are very effective and work quickly.

I'v tried just about all even brewing up something called "Ed's Red". I swear by a simple home made cleaner once used by benchrest shooters. Mix Hoppes No 9 ( the real stuff, not the new crap) and TC no 17 black powder cleaner. Add the No 9 to get a thick consistency. No toxic chemicals. It smells good and cleans powder residue nicely.

Many Many good formulas out there. I like the wipe out when PD shooting, I can foam it and set it aside for a while. Eliminator is good for copper for me, All around I like shooters choice or Butch's bore shine. My brother likes Butch's so much he stole my bottle! Follow the usual routine and they all work.

Wipeout ... soak for 1 hr. Then use Kroil/Hoppes mix. If I feel any copper as I push patches through I use Shooters Choice copper remover. For real stubborn carbon or copper ... Its some JB bore paste.

Very similar to above... Wipeout, let it soak, run a patch with Kroil/Hoppes mix, dry patch wrapped around a nylon brush to dry it out, patch with light oil coating wrapped around a nylon brush to protect it.
