Borden Ridgeline action

Has anyone used one of the new Borden Ridgeline actions? would like to get some feedback on one for a 300 WSM project.

I have a Mountaineer (essentially the same as a Ridgeline sans the weight reducing flats milled in the side of the receiver). I have a Bixn' Andy trigger. It is an outstanding combination...it would be great for a .300 WSM project IMO.

Close...the Mountaineer has been built as a SA or LA drop in. The ridge line is a medium action which does not use a SA or LA inlet.

Robin - I think your Mountaineer is a SA drop in thus yours would be the round version of the Alpine.

to the OP. The WSM works well in the Ridgeline if you want to run the bullets long. The Alpine can handle the WSM just fine. With this Ridgeline though you will get over 3" OAL ability.

I stand corrected. Yes Greg, it is for a 6mm Creed/ SA. I think my BRMXD is the 'hybrid' footprint/ MA.

The BRMXD is a Benchrest tang action and has it's own footprint. It doesn't follow the SA / LA scale.

Your Mountaineer on the Alpine platform is a great SA creedmoor build! glad to hear you're liking it. The ridgeline will be for 6 Creed / 6.5 Creed (especially) with the long long bullets like the 142.

I don't have a ridgeline, but I do have a repeater tube gun action from Borden. It's nice - the attention to detail is there for sure. If you do decide to get a Borden, also buy the trigger from him (or send him one) so he can time the action properly. It's really nice to have a perfectly timed action. It spoils you for factory actions.

Greg can you get 3 down in mag box from bdl set up? Reason I like to keep chamber clear while hunting and would like to hold 3 down. Also how well do these feed? Thanks for your time.
