Bolt Sleeving a Pre 64 Win Mod 70

Can a Pre 64 Winchester Mod 70 bolt be sleeved, in order to reduce play/slop between the action and bolt. If so, any recommendations on where to have it done. THX

Gordy Gritters epoxy sleeved my bolt at the rear of the action.

This old Winchester has a Tubb speedlock bolt/striker spring and an Briley/Anschutz 2 stage trigger...just like Mr. Tubb used before he designed the Tubb 2000. It is NOT a T2K but it's kinda sweet in 6XC for across-the-course:]

You have two surfaces with wear, the action and the bolt. If you want it fixed the best way is to ream the bolt race about .010" and replace the bolt with an aftermarket bolt that is oversized to match with the reamed bolt race. This maked the bolt race uniform for its entire length. The process is quite expensive in comparison to doing a Remington or Savage.
