Bolt shroud

Can anyone direct me to some info on how to remove my bolt shroud and firing pin from a Panda and a remington? thanks.

Well, I bought a little tool from Brownells that compresses the firing pin spring. It allows the cocking piece to move out of the shroud enough to knock the pin out. Release the spring pressure and it comes apart.

You do not need one of those fancy tools. Just hold the bolt shroud and compress the spring and bolt shroud. Put an allen wrench between the cocking piece and the bolt shroud and than you can punch out the pin. Make sure that you hold everything together with your hand otherwise everything will shoot across the room. To reassemble just compress bolt shroud over firing pin and spring and install the cocking piece.

WERE SAFETY GLASSES AS SPRINGS AND EYE BALLS DO NOT MIX!

Pest shooter, It may be fancy, but it don't cost much. No way I could have gotten the pin out of the one I did today without the tool. Somebody had boogered the pin. I had to use one hand to hold the punch and one to hold the hammer.

Hell, just clamp it in a vise

Really, buy the correct tool. Otherwise you will sooner or later booger up the bolt shroud. I made my own firing pin assembly removal tool. I spent the money and bought the FP disassembly tool as it would take a lot of machine work to make one.

Ditto on the tool.,Kleinendorst or something like that). After you get the pin out and shroud off, you can just screw the jack bolt out and take spring tension off under complete control. If anything shoots out in my garage, I never find it.

Also, The same outfit makes a bolt disassembly tool that cams the sear back while you unscrew the firing pin/shroud assembly or screw it back in. Both are worth the money in my opinion.

Can anyone be more specific, the only thing I can move or anything is sliding the shroud from cocked to uncocked and I also was wondering where exactly is this pin Im to knock out? does anyone know where there is a takin apart drawing of this? thanks.
