bolt release Rem 700/ XR100

I have a XR100 that I put a Jewel trigger on, I put the trigger from the XR100 on a m700, all is good except the bolt release slide... I swaped a bolt release slide from a X mark trigger off a m700 but release is still not reaching the lever in the action ( is to short by about 40 thou) lines up perfect but wont reach. Any body know the cure here or is it just the X mark lever is the problem ??? Thanks Neil

The XR 100 uses the 40x style trigger which uses the old style 700 bolt release when installed on a 700 action. X mark won't work. Old style 700 will.

The bolt stop/release's are different from 700/40X's & Seven/673/600/660/XR-100/XP-100/XP-100R's.

X Mark trigger group parts will not interchange.

You need a 700 bolt release lever to install on the 40X repeater trigger group off the XR-100.

Ensure the detent ball spring is not engaged into the Mutent E clip cut in the safety pivot pin for proper safety operation.

neil, i am going to send 2 bolt release actuators 1. the standard 700 2. for the xr-100, xp-100, & 600 style . the first actuator i sent you was for one of my jewell triggers-- my mistake, i hope you can use one of these-- just mail the one you don,t need back & use the one i hope will work. if one of these parts will not work we might have to change the bolt-stop----------- take care craig
