I have a Savage 10 bottom bolt release action and want to use a stock that is a blind mag top bolt release can the lever be bought and swapped out?
Possible to convert bottom bolt release to top?

So there is way more to it than just swapping out the lever, maybe I just need to find another stock...
You can try to bend the lever , but chances are it will break

Why not either ignore the slot in the stock or fill it in?

Last I knew savage would only sell the lever to gunsmiths ect.
It's not the slot in the stock its the bottom metal. The bolt release is in the trigger guard and it is different than the one that is in the stock now.
