Bolt Handle Bending on 98 Mauser

I
thought that looked familiar . Dang it's better than I remember , what did you do ? I'm only good for functional now a days . It's just a tool to me , but Butch and Josh have put a hankering in my mind to do nice again . Actually dug out all the checkering tools and chisels .
Ah shoot , who am I kiddin , it'll end up being the usual unfinished project and Josh will end up with it !

I see that as well- bolt looks as though it's not fully in battery....
Could be lack of clearance on the inside of the handle against the receiver, or the stock isn't inletted enough for the handle.
Its fully closed, the gun is tilted slightly see the post-it pad holding over a little. With the bolt completely closed I can still get a folded over dollar under the bolt handle between the stock cut-out.

yes sir the Parker Hale and it shoots sweet Teele loves it and thank you for all your help with it
I got this bolt handle from Dressel in Oregon. They are long. I brazed mine on using Nickel silver brazing rod, shaping and polishing. The nickel silver rod is silver in color, will not take blueing. Coating or polishing is the way to go unless you don't mind a silver line in the blueing.
