Bolt face conversion

Can a machinist/gunsmith open a ppc bolt face to a .308 bf with extractor and ejector working without modification?

They should be able to... it is only ~30 thou.

Or you can have someone cut down the rim of the case's to fit the ppc bolt!

My bolt face was modified no prob, and maybe any good smith can do. The extractor did need some adjustment which was easily done. Take both barrels so you can chamber a round of each dia. for test. Mine does PPC and BR no probs. I think the BR wouldn't chamber, until the ejector was adjusted.

... in spades. Unfortunately, many smiths will take on work that they do not understand, and you eat the results.
