I shot the 308 Savage Stryker last week. Holy wow it’s a handful. I loaded some 125s for a lighter load. It’s accurate but the recoil is way too much for my tastes. I’ll try the 243 next.

Had a chambered barrel in .204 Ruger for my Savage pistol. Only took a couple of rounds to figure out it was way too hot for me liking. Somebody else wanted it more than I did.

And if you put a 16" barrel on it and keep the OAL at 26", it's STILL a rifle (no matter what it looks like) and you don't have to spend more $$$ for another action.

That is true the shoots I like to do i gotta keep the barrel less then 15 inches for everything but the heavy class

I have 2, 1-243, 1 6.5 cm. I love them both. I found on the CM that a brake helps a lot. it is a dream to shoot. It is a hoot to be able to hit 1 moa steel at 1000 when others are struggling with rifles.

I would love to build a few more.

Just picked it up. I'm liking the way it looks and feels. I had it chambered in 6 br. 8 twist 15" barrel. I got a box of 80 grain eld vt to load up for it.
