Bob Jones (BJones Sights) in Hospital

Bob has a broken hip and other complications. He was placed on a BiPap for breathing. No word beyond this.

If anyone can contact Bob Dapp, Alan Dapp and Allen Elliot, I would appreciate you passing this info along.

Bob is at the Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center...nurse station 480.583.0841. He is in Room 404 under Robert Jones and his case nurse is Nicole.

Bob was my line coach on the 99 Palma Team in South Africa. Best coach that I ever fired under. Not only was he an excellent reader of conditions, but he had a very consistently smooth delivery of shooting commands. Sure do miss shooting under this man.....

Hi Bob DEPP, one of the days I will remember your proper name. Tried to hunt you down on Facebook and you were gone (that happens when you spell the name wrong). Tried to get hold of Allen Elliot there, but he never reads PM's apparently. I know that he and Bob Jones were very tight.

The very latest is that he has a fractures in the "pelvic & back region of the hip bone"...ever WTH that means. It is not operable and will mean an extended period of recovery. He will have to go into a rehab or extended care facility because he cannot take care of himself. He is a veteran, so I would expect him to get pretty good care. Of course, Jones will want to go home and is likely to tell the medical staff where to get off the bus. Will update you here.

Very sad news about Bob, hopefully a speedy recovery is coming up.
I have also been fortunate enough to be coached buy Bob in a team match, he is definetly one of the best.

His nurse told me he had been eating and drinking, resting and seemingly doing better. He is still on a strong oxygen flow.

Well, this getting' older isn't all peaches n' cream, huh?!! Old age and old injuries have their way of gaining on us...ALL of us fortunate enough to live long enough. My best advice is to play the cards you're dealt, and keep pushin'! Strength and best wishes to Bob thru this unfortunate situation! Semper fi -

Bob is actually at Haven of Phoenix. It had a better rating than Camelback Post-Acute Care. Those were the two approved by his insurance. I called there last night, and they informed me that he had arrived at around 7-7:30.

Just had back surgery #2 (pretty involved) and am having another MRI tomorrow. The doc will tell me if I need back surgery #3 on Monday after he reviews the MRI. Sciatic nerve pain is something I'd not wish on an enemy. No sleep and lots of Oxy do not make for a fun life. Our Uncle is paying for it, but I am beginning to wonder of I should have had these surgeries done at a VA hospital instead of via Community Care.

Grant introduced me to Bob Jones a number of years ago. Seemed like a good man to me. I wish him the best. Life sux at times for sure. Live life to the fullest and go out on my own terms is what I hope to do. God Speed Bob Jones.

Bob is still going through a very rough time. He is being a bit bull-headed about medications and tasks that he needs to do. He is not out of the woods yet and it could go either way. Keep him in your thoughts.

Bob is being transferred back to St Joseph's/Barrow Hospital. There may be neurological issues and that facility he was at did not have the means or the skills to treat him.
