Sightron is the more expensive of the 2 you can find them in the classifieds from time to time.
My wife's 6br has the Sightron 8x32 I believe I gave $600 for it found it in scope/optics classifieds.
You can find the Weaver selling between $400-$450 as well.
20 moa rail and a set of Burris Z rings should give him all the vertical he needsI don't think the Weaver has enough vertical.

Well, now he has a better understanding of what he's up against in his selection of optics and limitations of his budget build.Yeah then he won't be able to shoot a hundred yards because he'll be a foot over the target. I've been down that road.
Just under 42 moaNF 12-42 br scope only has 40 moa of elevation, I’m not sure about the weaver.

That’s looks killer. What stock did you use?Heres mine
Its a boyds stock. This axis model comes with it from savage. I had to hunt for it for over a year due to all the shortages. I live in AZ and found it in Arkansas. I had it shipped here. About 4 months after i got it i started getting online notifications from places that they were getting them in stock finally. It started life as a 223 but pulled the barrel to make it a 6×45That’s looks killer. What stock did you use?
