Sightron is the more expensive of the 2 you can find them in the classifieds from time to time.
My wife's 6br has the Sightron 8x32 I believe I gave $600 for it found it in scope/optics classifieds.
You can find the Weaver selling between $400-$450 as well.

Yeah then he won't be able to shoot a hundred yards because he'll be a foot over the target. I've been down that road.

Well, now he has a better understanding of what he's up against in his selection of optics and limitations of his budget build.

I'm sure the scitron is good also. I've heard good reviews and some mixed reviews from my customers. I can honestly say I've never had anyone tell me that had a night force or a Leupold that didn't work right out of the box. I've had a few that had problems with scitrons but they're definitely less expensive. I'm sure they're fine too.

The OP said 600 yards. A 6BR with 107s only needs about 12 MOA to get there.

Its a boyds stock. This axis model comes with it from savage. I had to hunt for it for over a year due to all the shortages. I live in AZ and found it in Arkansas. I had it shipped here. About 4 months after i got it i started getting online notifications from places that they were getting them in stock finally. It started life as a 223 but pulled the barrel to make it a 6×45

I think it is. I wanted a wood stock gun. There are not many out there anymore for a budget price. It was cheeper getting this and swapping the barrel out than trying to build something

Coldboreshot gave you the best advice. No service or warranty for a Weaver. Used Sightron would be a great choice or NF BR..
