Blue 9mm bullets?

I have, Nothing great or bad to report the coating on some flaked during loading, Could of been the brass I got from you ?? LOL The guy on CG is slightly over priced PV has them in stock

Shot thousands in PCC. Great bullets and folks to deal with. Used a lot in USPSA. Like any coated bullets, don't over crimp them.

I reload 9mm for IDPA & 3 Gun comp. 124gr RN Blue Bullet, Fed primer, and 3.4gr of Win 231. Recoil is light and it makes power factor. Cycles my guns reliably and accuracy is acceptable for my needs.

Any of you care share your loading info?
I'm currently working on expanding with a 38special expander set to expand about the length of the bullet. I'm looking at NOE stepped or m style expanders when they get back in stock to help alleviate any bullet swaging when seating. They still fit my chamber with this process but it's an extra step to expand this way to load cast. Of course this is all dependent on the size of your bullets. I cast my own and they drop about .358 before I powder coat.

They work okay, but none of my 9mm guns shoot .355 diameter all that well .356 is better but all of my 9mm’s like cast bullets sized at .357. Not sure why Blue sizes to .355. I’ve heard they changed the coating over the years but before you’d end up with blue fingers after a loading session.

I have loaded/shot thousands of PC bullets by Bayou, Zombie, Missouri, Blue Bullets, and a few DIY sellers in multiple calibers. Currently setting up for a run of 600 250 gr RNFP Blue Bullets in .45 Colt from Powder Valley.
I have had very good results from all, but in the smaller calibers where the price point is nearly the price of plated bullets, I will buy the copper.
I do adjust the case mouth flare a touch larger to prevent “shaving” just as I would for hard cast or naked lead bullets.

For no reason I started with Acme bullets and have stayed with them. Are they favorable with anyone else here?

I really like the feel of shooting the 145gr 9mm. You'll be loading slower than 115gr bullets so just smoother recoil management, better control for multiple shots... all positives.

Will have to explore them!

Edit: Found the bullets similar to the Blues I bought from Powder Valley at Acme, but the Blues were on sale at $79.56 per 600 delivered/tax. Acme wants $90+ before tax/shipping for 500. Nice bullets, though.
