Bloody Day at the Range

Here's one that confused me at the time and I just recalled:

Aimpoint 2000s came with a nice rubber eyepiece cover. Fat at the eyeball end, cannot think of any value it would have but as an eye guard as for this thread. Removable, but... it's an unlimited eye relief optic. Did they find that early in the RDS era no one understood and kept crawling up on it?

Sounds like he wasn’t expecting the thump. Maybe the next time you see him he’ll be shooting handloads with a 60% load reduction and H4895 or Trail Boss and a 125 grain cast bullet.

Good on you K22 for taking the time to help him, we all experience a mishap once in awhile, it’s always nice when someone understands and doesn’t laugh a guy off the range.
