Blaser R 93 LRS2

Gentlemen,
Have been an 'old school' shooter all my life, looking to up grade. Am considering a Blaser R 93. Have read much good about this platform, piqued my interest. Will be needing to top it with good optics, possibly digital, any suggestion? Not new to long range shooting. Was designated marksman in Army. Worked various times, places as a long range marksman. Work at 500 to 1500 meters. Just looking for sometime new, better, for my 'old, tired' eyes.
Grateful for any help.
 
A friend in Bulgaria uses a Blaser and loves it - very fast action with the accuracy of a bolt gun. I have handled one at Cabelas in Rogers Mn but never fired one. I was impressed with the workmanship.
