Blackjack bullets

I'm interested in these bullets. Anybody shooting them here? Thinking about rebarreling my .257 Wby. Mag to a faster twist to shoot them. Does it take a special reamer or will a normal .257 Roy reamer work?

Id call jgs or ptg and see if they can sell you a reamer with the correct freebore and be sure to mark it as such on the barrel so nobody shoots factory ammo in it

Shoots awesome, mild recoil, excellent bc! Looking at spinning up a second barrel

I'm shooting a 25/284 and a 257 SAUM IMP with these bullets..
Black Jack also sells reamers..
Bought the reamer for the 25/284 from them, my old 25/284 reamer was not wide enough at the base for Peterson or Lapua brass..used my own original 257 SAUM IMP for the big one with ADG brass, no problem.
The reamers need to cut at least a .500 wide base unless your using WW brass, and thats to narrow at the base..

As noted, Blackjack sell the correct reamers for several cartridges using their 131 bullets. They also stock a selection of barrels with the appropriate twist rate in a couple of different contours.

I've used their barrels and a couple of reamers for projects involving long range targets. I've made several .257 Weatherby barrels for hunters. All excellent shooters.
