Black Widow Extractor Question

My Farley Black Widow action bolt makes a click noise and felt clunk when the case slips by the extractor and moves into position on the bolt face. This can be felt when the bolt is being closed. A fix would be to lengthen and polish the radius on the ejector to allow the brass to smoothly slip by and rest on the bolt face. I would like to remove the extractor an check the pivot points etc. but I do not see any retainer set screw or rolled pin. Also what size is the allen set screw that retains the ejector plunger? Thanks in advance?

Your question is confusing because you keep referring to the ejector but your description of what you want to do sounds like you mean the extractor.
The Farleys I have seen use a Sako extractor which has no screw or pin and is retained by the tip of the spring loaded plunger. The plunger is pushed out of the way with a suitable jewelers screwdriver or small punch and the ejector will drop out.
You can probably find some Farley guys over on Benchrest Central. That action is not made in big numbers and most of them are probably in the hands of short range Benchrest Shooters.

Farley uses a set screw to retain the ejector instead of a roll pin. You can even secure the ejector plunger down with the screw if you don't want to eject a case. It's a small screw, you need a micro set of allen wrenches.

Thanks for the replies in spite of my confusing post. I edited the post so it makes a little more sense. Is the allen screw metric or American? I will try to remove the extractor by pushing on the spring.

It is American. The extractor is a Sako style. It is retained by the plunger. No screws or pins.
