If anybody is interested, I will have some black walnut planks about 1" thick 8ft long.
I have a couple 4-8" wide with the bark and sap wood still on the sides (2-5" of heart wood). This tree dropped May of 10
I use a Delmhorst meter with the species chart indicating that it is at 11% which I believe is neutral for here in the Carolina's. You might want it to dry more I'm not an expert. I think the rule is 1 year of dry time per 1" of thickness in the right cond. Butch or somebody would prolly know for sure.
If you want it you will have to come get it and donate $5 or $10 a pc to this site. I live 30 miles south of Charlotte. I'll try to get some pics up tonight.
