Black panthers attacking mule deer!!! They do exist.

I worked at Magee fur traders when I was in high school stretching coon and muskrat mostly. This was back in the peak of the fur trading days, anyhow one evening a couple boys came bouncing in with a bobcat to collect the $80 price they fetched back then. It was a 30lb house cat that had identical marking and they almost collected on it until we threw a real one beside it and the turfs on the ears told them apart. No other differences could be seen other than that. Back then we gave 25¢ for cats so they got double for such a big one. Lol You should have seen their faces when we figured it out.
I saw what I swore was a big bobcat atop a retaining wall in back of my friend's apartment in Hong Kong. Only they don't have any true wildcats there today. After reading your tale I finally accept it must have been a feral domestic cat.

Some relatives have a cabin at Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Someone snapped a photo of my mom waving goodbye as she was standing next to her car parked out back near a tree-lined berm. When they developed the pic, it revealed a large mountain lion standing broadside in the shadows about ten yards beyond and a little above her.

You would think working at the 3rd largest fur company in the United States we would have seen one before but this one almost got by us. Damn thing was biggest wild cat we ever seen.

For all those people that have seen a north American black panther and had others doubt you......at last, here is absolute irrefutable proof that they do in fact exist!!!! Here are trail camera photos of one attacking several mule deer!!!

Might as well do something for fun today.......
It may be black, but it ain't a panther, puma, cougar, or mountain lion. A cougar's tail is as long or longer than its body.

for some reason I do not see a picture of a :
black panther"....was there one.

There was...back when I posted it, then all of a sudden something either happened at photobucket or it happened at this forum and all photobucket pictures turned into red X's. I thought it might have something to do with this forum, as the only way I can post photos now is to upload them directly on here. I can still post photobucket stuff on other forums, but it seems like there was another one I could not. Anyone know what's going on here????? I will try to post these again direct...it was kinda funny.

Edit: it lets me directly "upload" one of the pictures but is saying "file too large" for the same size other one...sorry guys.
