Bix sear insert?

Yep. Flipped it around and everything is as I would expect. Thanks guys
I have the same problem. I couldn’t get the pin fall I needed with a couple different hangers and then I noticed the sear insert. The other Bix’s I have don't have them. After reading this thread I pulled the sear out of the trigger and removed the torx screw in the insert, but it doesn’t want to slide out. How are you supposed to remove the insert so it can be rotated?

I don't remember exactly how it came out, but I DO remember it not being immediately obvious. I had to fiddle with it.
Ah, yes. The curse of the mechanically inclined.

'Don't ask me HOW I did it. Just hand it over and let me do it. Trust me, it's simpler than trying to explain it.'

You can do it. It may have just been a friction fit. I used the same little torx wrench for the screw to pry it out (if memory serves)

The Bix I bought about 10 years ago had this feature and it broke off a piece that jammed trigger up. Sent it back for replacement. All it does in reversed position is change firing pin fall. Very small screw and fragile.
