Bix & Andy Trigger, worth the money?

So what effect does a trigger have on accuracy of the rifle (not the shooter)? The trigger must release the cocking piece consistently with as little drag as possible. Hold the tigger back on your Jewell and push the top lever down, do the same on a BIX. The Jewell has probably 10 times the resistance of the BIX. That translates to less drag on the cocking piece. So in my opinion, if your capable of shooting as well as you rifle can, you would see some improvement, more so at long range than short.

Thanks guys!

I bit the bullet and have one on the way. Hopefully, I will enjoy it, although doubt I will see much differences in my F-Open scores. One less thing to think about on the firing point will help my confidence and hopefully get me a point or two.

Seems it would be simple to test. 10 or 20 groups with each trigger, shot during similar conditions. I'm sort of doing the exact thing with a Remington .223 right now. I just swapped out the crappy X-mark trigger for a Jewell, and am comparing the results. Sadly, I'm not seeing a huge decrease in group size...which is why I asked my original question.

Arrived here today, great service from Bullet Central.

Now I need the weather to improve enough so that the temperature is double digits to get out to test it and see what I think. I will keep you posted.

Again, not looking for a miracle, just more consistency.

Thanks for all the help and insight guys.
