Bix & Andy Trigger, worth the money?

I currently have a Panda Fclass action with a Jewell BR trigger. I shoot F-open with a 6 Dasher and 284 Win? I like the Jewell, but I am underwhelmed with the feel and consistency of the trigger. After reading about the Bix & Andy trigger it seems like the "real deal".

You guys that own/shoot the Bix & Andy trigger what are your thoughts? Do you like it better than the Jewell? How is the feel/consistency of the B&A triggers?

I had one in my shopping cart today, but I wanted to get a little feedback before I pulled the trigger (pun intended).o_O

I bought one not to long ago. It does feel better shot to shot.
The biggest reason for me to try one. Was twice last year my jewel froze up from a little crud. Just barely got it out washed with lighter fluid and back together in time to make it back to the line.
IMO the BnA design won't be as likely to lockup as the jewel
 
I have one in my Calfee built 22 bench gun it is awesome never had a problem with it and is much nicer than the jewel that it replaced
 
I really like mine. They are entirely different inside. If you blank a primer it won't break like a Jewell. Matt
 
I own 6 B&A triggers. They are way superior to any Jewel. One of the gunsmith's that I use told me that the new Jewel's are a piece of crap compared to the older ones. He said that he could take an older one and really slick it up, but it still won't compare to a out of the box B&A trigger. Going to buy one of those new Flavio Fare' triggers. From what I have heard from guy's that own both of them, what a B&A is to a Jewel, a FF is to a B&A.

Due to the currency exchange rates, the B&A is @ 75 bucks cheaper than they were a few months ago.

I put one in my 6BR, replacing a Jewell, because I was starting to think about the trigger during a match. The B&A is so much more consistent than the Jewell! My B&A measures 25 to 35 GRAMS every time, using a gram force meter; the Jewell was only within about 1 ounce either side of 3 ounces, but that was using my Lyman digital trigger gage which can be a tad difficult at really low pull weights.

On bulletcentral, prior to the 11-21-2015 price change, the B & A Remington 700 competition trigger without safety had a listed price of 419.00. Due to the dollar/euro conversion rate change, today's price is 375.00.

I apologize to anyone that I may have misled by stating you could save "@ 75 bucks", when it is really 44.00.

A few bucks one way or the other probably has little effect on anyone's decision.....but kudos to benchrite and bulletcentral for passing the savings on to their customers. It is pretty rare when anything in bench rest goes down in price.

Jack. I bought 6 B&A Remington 700 without safety since early 2013 to October of 2015 and they have always been $395.00. I don't know where the $419.00 came from, but that wasn't what I paid from Bullet central.
 
I have shot Canjar LP, Shilen, Hart, Jewel, and B&A. The guns all went bang. The thing that I like about the B&A is that I can forget about it. It is very consistent. No trigger will fix a misread wind flag, bad tune, or a mediocre barrel.

Consistent ignition is the key to shooting good groups. Buy a correx tension gauge from bullet central and see how much a jewell varies in pull weight. Its been proven in competition that it matters. Just like scopes it makes all the difference
