bit of advice please

got to be honest i'm not sorting bullets.accuracy at close range is stunning but i'm losing points on elv at 1000 i know this could be me because i'm shooting off a harris bipod but with all the talk about the importance of es and its a known problem i'm starting there.my bartlien barrel has about 200 through it and punches tiny groups so its not the barrel.anyone else think es is not that important ? i have had a very good shooter say forget es but the logic behind es cuasing vertical makes sense.if it will shoot .25 at 100 of a bipod and .8 at 300 of a bipod i don't think the bipod/rear bag is the problem.

Are you have this elevation issue when there is mirage or always?

i just keep dropping a point here and there on elv,you expect it when mirage is present .but with a known es of 20 ish its worth looking in to.i have tonight been playing with internal case volume and managed an es of 13 with 5 shots som i'm getting there .
