Bison chuck question

I am glad the 10" Buck Chuck is gone, but I keep making cradles to lift them onto the ways and store them on the floor.

Your pics are pretty. That does nothing for a 78yr old with 5 neck and back surgeries. I do not have a skyhook either.

I have read this entire thread but not being a machinist understood very little. However, I enjoyed the read nonetheless for the generosity and humanity it displayed. Makes me proud to be in such company.

The moral to the story probably whatever you have can be made to work.

Bison 6 jaw off to Alan Warner today. Best thing was the big old chuck fit a flat rate box.

I hope the FR box doesnt rip apart and fall off on the way. You must have taped the hell out of it. The USPS workers sure will be surprised when the grab that one wont they.

It is enclosed in 1/2" plywood and filled with foam worms packed and pressed in.
