Bipods - which is your favorite?

I have Harris, Atlas CAL, and Ckye pods. For PRS I mainly like the Atlas CAL with an Arca lever clamp. I do carry a Cyle pod double pull lightweight as a backup for the occasional tall bipod need. The Atlas is a bit more stable for most situations.

For NRL hunter the Ckye pod is preferred, no question. Double pull, or triple pull if you can make weight.

I had a CAL years ago, I sold it because the cant tension would work itself loose and I didn't like the method for extending the legs.

I've been using a Harris with an Area 419 ARCA adapter. I've shot three PRS matches, one Hunter match and another long range match with no issues. The adapter has a throw lever to tighten bipod position, and another for can't.

They will work. Used a Harris for many years and still have a few set up the same as yours.

I’m getting along better with mine holding the tension I want over the CAL, and that’s with the same KMW lever.

That was my experience as well. Something I really like about my Cadex is how easy it is to swap the feet and/or leg extensions.

The feet screw on and then are held in place by a "key". Its button that locks into a detent on the leg and must be depressed to disengage. The feet can't rotate or be unscrewed unless you disengage the key.

I haven't looked into how the feet are changed out on the Ckye, TBAC, or Accutac yet. I've read a few reports on the accutac tension loosening over time so that rules it out for me.

They aren’t fancy but they work. And when you have had them for over 20 years they are there if you need them. lol
I own 3 Accuracy-Tac bipods with ARCA attachments, 1 Atlas CAL pic-mount(also able to switch to ARCA), 1 Rempel and a half dozen or so S-Series Harris 6-9" with notched legs and swivel (leveling) adjustment. All those have KMW Pod-Locs and a couple were converted to ARCA via Area 419 conversion units. I found something interesting from Amazon not long ago and it has worked out very well for me in the ability to have a more inexpensive way to use a Harris as stud attach or ARCA:

Put a bit of PTFE tape on the threads of the Accu-tac, stops the feet loosening.
