The one Timberyote posted is a pushbutton quick detach picattiny clamp and the one you posted is a quick detach thumbscrew clamp. both will work the main thing is that they are both the BR model with adjustable cant and notched legs, ll three of these things are wanted, these are the ones to buy if you are getting a HARRIS. They do make others without adj cant and non notched legs with I do not like. The only thing I would add is an aftermarket cant lever to replace the thumb knob, its well worth the few dollars.https://www.midwayusa.com/product/102261957?pid=304506
I had this one bookmarked as a pic rail mount Harris also. What’s the preferred choice between these two?
The same for me. I also like the Harris bipods most of all. Their durability and stability are unmatched. Also, their customer service is excellent. If you have any questions or need assistance, checking harris bipods customer service reviews can provide insights into their prompt and helpful support.I’ve tried some really expensive bipods and the Harris are still my favorite by a wide margin. They make a picatinny model now as well.
Simple, stable, and tough. The same for me. I also like the Harris most of all.
This model is what I use on my field gun. The 6-9” version works really well for me in the prone, but the 9-13” is good too if you have tall grass, etc. It’s not as expensive as the Atlas, but it’s good enough for the marines.Looking to a new bipod with picatinney mounting system. Not interested in a competition F-T/R bipod, just one that is adjustable, foldable and sturdy for prone shooting only, hunting and ringing steel without having to sell my first born child! Thanks.
