Bipod recommendation

Looking to a new bipod with picatinney mounting system. Not interested in a competition F-T/R bipod, just one that is adjustable, foldable and sturdy for prone shooting only, hunting and ringing steel without having to sell my first born child! Thanks.

A Harris bipod with a quick lock is plenty good for me. I have some Alamo Four Star quick locks, but I think they are no longer in business. I have a couple of Larue's, too.

I have atlas cal bipods. Only other ones I ever had were CV life from amazon and a Caldwell. They aren’t on the same level to even compare, but I really like the atlas bipods. You can switch out the feet on them as well. Ton of adjustability and built like tanks. Never tried a Harris, but depending on your budget that might be the way to go. The atlas is fairly expensive in my opinion.

You could also look at the Warne Skyline Bipod, Much better than a Harris but not quite the price of the Atlas brand, MDT has the budget friendly Grnd pod

I used Harris until I got my first Atlas. I like the Atlas CAL over the Panning model, and both are better for me than the Harris.

Atlas works for me. As said above panning on certain models, adjustable, solid . I've had mine for 10+ - years now problems what so ever.
I like their nose rail as well.IMG_20230423_151056374_HDR.jpg

I have an Atlas with the quick change mount. Got it on sale last year from Optics Planet I think and it goes back and forth between the 2 rifles I have with Pic mounts. Works great. I have 2 Harris bipods and for the love of me can't not find a way to pinch myself with the springs. They work just fine though but I prefer the Atlas.
