It rained this afternoon, the first in a while, and then got sunny and calm out. Drove to a farm that had harvested wheat that the Chucks seem to like cleaning up after. Bingo, they planted beans! With the moisture and new shoots it was "Hog Heaven" however shooting through the trees at 5-600 yards proved challenging but I did recover a couple of pups. I drove over to the farm, due to the flooded creek from the rain, to survey the damage. While there they kept coming out so out comes the AR in 6.5 Grendel and nails this one from the BogPod at 182 yards. The 100 grain Sierra HP at 2840 fps didn't even exit! Came in at 12 lbs. even.
