Bigger bullet hole theory

Set up for both barrels. See which works best for You. Both have pros/cons. There is no magic bullet. Theres more to it than that.

UBR does not make available printable targets. If they want to spread their concept they should have done it.
The targets are press printed at one location to insure that they are all dimensionally correct. I'm sure you could print up whatever you like to practice on, but any target used in a proper match would have to be an official target.

Yes they do make available targets. Our club bought a lot several years ago. The shipping was as much as the targets almost. We contacted D.H and asked if we could have them copied He told us that is fine. That it is what we will do as needed. UBR is not hung on every little nuance of each rule like many organizations. They want to promote bench rest shooting with a target that lets different calibers be on a more level playing field. Our club does not like breaking up our group of shooters by gun specifications the same way them UBR book says. So we do that our way. Over the last 2 years our UBR match participation has more than doubled. Make it work for your club. No one is winning a new Corvette, have some fun.

I would suggest buying the full set of the 9 targets, then you'll have
your templates for your overseas printer. Look at it this way......You
could be the founder of UBR across the pond !! EU-UBR

Yes. For the time being I focus on my load development. I don't quite understand all my variables in the process since I get 17fps SDs.

UBR is an awesome game. I'd like to see more consistent scoring. No issues at the couple places I shoot regularly, but...Saw some cards at a big shoot that left me scratching my head, then got an obtuse explanation when I asked about it.

If your talking about to 300 yds my advice is put the crony away and concentrate on small round groups. Just the way you phrased SD with no mention of group size says something to me.

Same debates go on in the archery target & 3D shooters, fat arrows, skinny arrows, they even sdded and then decreased the size of the X ring. Whole bunch of the same old, same old about the jarlicker shots too. The one thing they don't debate over, is the group size measurements, that doesn't exist..
