I used to work in the building where they ran 7.62 . Ran alot of match ,118 special ball,regular ball, national match, blank, overhead fire ,tracer. It was all 7.62 no 30 cal. Crated alot of those wooden boxes. each one had cans in it. Match had a full metal jacket. National match had a 175 gr. sierra match. hollow point for camp perry. Oh, those were the days. Doug

I used to "push-pull" all of mine...slip a 168 into it, a poor man's 852.

I picked this unopened crate of Lake City M72 Match ammo at an Estate Sale last weekend.
Curious on what this all-knowing crowd thinks its value is. The crate is marked 800 cartridges.

All well and good. But first thing you gotta do is get it outa those silly white boxes and into bandoleers! Then you'll be able to easily hump a double basic load along with your 5 20-round magazines.
