BiB bullet diameter

I purchased some 108g BIB FB 6mm bullets and was checking the bullet length to the lands. Had some problem with getting them to fit into my oal modified case so checked the box and found out the diameter as listed on the box is .2435. I checked my 108 Bergers and 105 Lapua's and both measured .2424. Anyone know if BIB bullets are normally .001 larger than others and will this cause me pressure problems with my BR. Barrel is a Krieger HV.

The 108 Bergers boat tails, and the 105 Lapua boat tails don't have the pressure ring that the Flat base bullets have.

That half a thousands pressure ring wont cause you any problems.

Bob, Joe is correct. Also, since the BIB 108 Gr. FB features MORE bearing surface than the BT/VLD bullet designs, it's appropriate to back-off your usual powder charge and work back up, looking for the 'tune' and pressure signs. "RG" Robinett
