I work part time in a ace hardware with a very good sporting goods dept, yes i just sign my check over to make a dent on my "toy" bill. I needed some things yesterday, (my day off) and of course stop to visit in the sporting goods dept. and all the AR15's were gone. We always have around 10-15 in stock but they were gone, every one of them.

As soon as the age 21 and over came out the AR's never had a chance, ... they were bought up in about an hour. Now you have to know that almost every house in this end of the state already had one or more before the 21 talk started. We have a pretty good shipment coming from shot show and about half of those are now spoken for when they show up.

Knowing that our area will have even more AR's living here just makes my heart feel all warm and fuzzy.

As has been proven time and time again, nothing sells guns faster than the threat of taking them away. This might just be the uptick in the market that the gun manufactures have been praying for.

I have been watching it also , last week seemed to be the official start.... 30 round pmags are disappearing , there still out there but the sold out is popping up at alot of places... Instead of raising prices some seem to be trying to get rid of 30 rounders in case there's a ban I guess and they dont want to get stuck with them... It's going to happen again but so far it's not an all out run on everything...

All the guys who bought up EVERYTHING last time got stuck with a bunch of over priced stuff and I am happy about that... Watching guys at academy paying a premium for cases of ammo and getting 3 ARs at a time etc , whole shopping carts of stuff to try and make a buck off of... So many people horded crap last time people just still have tons of ammo in the closet they didn't shoot up because the world didn't end... Paying $250 for a brick of .22lr ..lol no thanks...

Cheap ARs from distribution have went from 400-450 now a lot of distributors are asking $600-620 for same guns 2 weeks later.

It was GREED that put all those AR's in gun stores and distribution centers everywhere during the election when manufactures and dealers just knew Hillary was going to win. Now, once again, it's GREED that's running the gun and ammo sales. Maybe some of these gun stores can get some of their investment back from the election fiasco. My go to Gun Store still has a wall full of them and he still has them heavily discounted.
