Best Way to remove lube without removing carbon from the neck?

Or, just don’t wipe the Hornady One Shot off when you are done. Half the time i leave the one shot lube on after sizing because I am lazy. No negative side effects from it yet.

When I leave the One Shot on it seems to speed up the tarnishing of the brass. I like to wash it off and then bath in an anti tarnish solution.

I know the OP did not want to wipe off the lube but a paper towel dampened with rubbing alcohol takes off One Shot or Imperial with very little effort. At one point I was toying with idea of throwing a couple of towels with alcohol in with a 100 or so many rounds and tumble them a little in a media separator. I would bet that would work also.

When it comes to wet tumbling, I've dropped the time way down when I clean my brass. From the range I deprime and wet tumble for about 15-20 minutes. Let them dry then I anneal and size. Then back into the wet tumbler for another 30 minutes. Cleans any dirt, debri and lube off without beating up the cases too much. They aren't super shiny and there is still carbon in the primer pockets but I haven't found any issues plus it doesn't beat up my case mouth chamfer.
