Best way to de-prime both large and small flash hole brass

I’m currently reloading several different rifle cartridges, but they all have one thing in common. They either have a small primer and small flash hole. (.060) or have a large primer with the larger .080 flash hole. What recommendations do you have where I can de-prime my brass prior to cleaning and re-sizing? I’m switching from using a vibratory tumbler first, then sizing and de-priming in the same operation method to using the SS media and water combination and rotary tumbler. I want the primers out first and don’t want to damage my dies by running dirty brass through them before they go to the tumbler. I’ve looked at a couple of the Pope style de-primers. They look handy but they never say if you are able to change decapping pin sizes. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Lloyd

I use Wilson decapping pins and appropriate decapping case bases. Keeps primer grit away from my presses, allows a great deal of 'feel' for primer pockets that may be expanding.

Yes you have to handle each case one-at-a-time but the operation gives you a chance to inspect for other defects as well, which may save time later on.

I feel the same way you do about decapping before the first cleaning. After switching to the SS media / wet method my fired brass looks better than brand new before sizing / annealing steps.

Neil Jones makes a pretty slick tool as well, you'll need to get different decapping arms for each caliber though.
