Best Scope in the $800 Range

Just as the heading states. I am looking for the best bang for my buck in the $800 range. I want FFP, mil/mil knobs, Christmas tree reticle, and reliable. Used is ok as long as it has a good warranty. Any ideas?

That's a tall order for your budget with those options. Vortex makes scopes in your price range with the options that you want but their glass clarity takes a crap especially at higher magnification. I hear great things about the sightron III series. I'd probably start there.

Scope like many thing "you get what you pay for." Low-end scopes deliver low-end results. A little more money allows you to move to very good optics with Vortex. I have Nightforce and three PST Vortex scopes. I find all four to do excellent jobs, low light or no. The difference is there are no low-end Nightforce scope, all are superb. Cheaper Vortex as crossfire and sub PST fall under the category of getting what you pay for.

+1 Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 FFP .1mil adj G2DMT reticle 30mm.......there are discount % coupons around to come close to your price.
However, for me the optics are crystal clear, and very bright. I was shocked at the clarity and brightness. And of course FFP makes it a range finder at any power. An amazing scope.

I have a bushnell elite ffp 6-24 with G2 sitting here unused if you want to go that direction.
