BEST rings & bases for S&B PMII 5-25x56 scope

Hi I'm looking for the very best set of rings and bases to fit my Schmidt & Bender PMII 5-25x56 scope on my Sauer 202 .308 rifle. The catch is, that I need it to be able to take the scope of, without loosing my zero. The reason: I also use the rifle, with a different stock and a Swarovski Z6i 1.7-10x42 scope on it. So what is what... Do I go with a picatinny rail or what.. I need a very goo solution, price is of no concern,within reason ;-))
Can You help me ??

I have the Warne quick detachable rings with one of their picatinny rail.
If you slide the rings back against the stop of the rail it seems to work pretty well.

Go with a quality Picatinny rail and a good set of tactical style rings in 34mm.

Seekins Precision, Badger Ordnance, TPS, US Optics all make great rings,and rails) in the 34mm size you need. Expect to spend over $100 for a good set of rings and some more for a torque wrench.

Most are designed to be tightened with a torque wrench to 65 in-lb. This allows them to return to zero when removed / replaced. My IOR 35mm scope with TPS rings returns to exact zero when removed and replaced.

I would not use a set of Warne rings,even if they made them in 34mm) bacause vertically split rings cannot be easily lapped or bedded. I have a set of Warne Maxima rings on a $500 scope, but would not use them on a $2,000+ scope.

Seekins are my fave. Hold my 2.5lb US Optics just fine. Reasonably priced and can not be beat.

All the screws can be interchanged, and are beefy torx t-25.
