Best Reticle x-hair dot size for 60 year old eyes?

What reticle xhair dot size are most of the slightly older (60+) year old shooters using in Benchrest Rimfire 50 to 200 yards?

Well, I shoot centerfire and you have young eyes, but I will chime in. My going to be 74 year old eyes find that the cross hair needs to correspond to the target.Conventional wisdom might say you need a heavier crosshair or dot. I just purchased a GE with the ECR floating dot. It's tiny, but a particular match I shoot has a 300 yd target with a very small white center. I usually did ok on it but I strained to see it as the crosshairs pretty much covered the center. The tiny dot sits inside that target with a ton of room around it. I would suggest looking at some targets at the ranges you shoot before picking, by going up 15x plus going to a tint dot, I improved my visibility on a tough target a lot.

I'm 65 now, and use a Weaver T36 FCH, no dot. Tried the dot and didn't care for it, but lots of the guys I shoot with prefer the dot. Some use a 24x, most use 36 but those 10-50x scopes are starting to be more common on the firing line.

Try and look thru various scopes at the local matches/ranges and get a feel for what feels right for you. I had a Sightron 36x FCH w/ dot and did not care for it. The Weaver FCH suits me better.

there are 2 NF BR scopes is classifieds with npr reticles for 1050 that would be a good one to go with...you can look on the NF site and see the reticle..the thing about leupolds for me is my eyes r bad and I cannot get the x hair to focus on any of them..my eyes don't match the loopy glass but I like them..they r great scopes

Sightrons work pretty good too with my eyes. Fine cross hair target dot.
I hear the SSEVD is stellar...?
