Best Reamer Lube

I realize that this is a loaded question. Everyone will have perhaps a different opinion.

Getting ready to chamber my first bbl and have my new reamer, HS gauge and pilot in hand.

Now, what lube do I want to use so that I cut a good chamber and take care of the reamer makers "work of art".

I use WD40,large can). I feed the reamer no more than .100" at a time, put the spray tube in one of the reamer flutes and spray constantly while feeding the reamer in.. let the reamer cut at it's own rate, it will dictate the feed rate, slower is better. Stop every .100" and remove the reamer and clean the flutes with the WD 40. Blow out the barrel with compressed air before placing the reamer back into the barrel for another cut.. I will use the entire large can to complete the chamber...The chamber will have a mirror finish in the inside..no need to polish with emory cloth or whatever?...

I've been using MobilMet Omega which is a sulpherized dark thread cutting oil. I have also used Rigid dark thread cutting oil, they are very similar. Check a current thread on br.com in the gunsmiths forum called "do these prices sound right?" for more info. Also if you do a search over there you will find lots of info on chamber reaming lubes.

Just like tightneck I have used a lot of Rigid pipe threading oil with never a problem.
I buy it by the gallon at the local hardware store.

I also use dark threading oil but I mix moly d 25% with the dark oil it cuts very smooth about 100 rpm
