I'm pretty sure my favorite purchase over the years has been my library of reloading manuals. I always note the date and place of purchase of each one on the inside cover.

I'm still relatively new to reloading but the purchases that have stood out so far have been the Frankford Arsenal SS tumbler and the RCBS Chargemaster. The tumbler makes the brass look like jewelry and the chargemaster makes charging loads of rounds painless.

Saturn powder funnels - spun aluminum, just like Bounce in the dryer, no static cling

RCBS Chargemaster - seriously, cuts loading time by at least half and eliminates a lot of tedium trickling charges. Plug it I'm to a quality surge suppressor/filter, let it warm up at least 15 minutes, ALWAYS close the cover when throwing a charge.

Wilson Case Trimmer with Sinclair Micrometer Adjuster - For perfect 1,000 yard cases

Sinclair Extra Heavy Loading Blocks - holes are sized for the family of cases being loaded, the holes are extra deep, the blocks are heavy and they can be cleaned in the dishwasher

Redding Competition Seating Dies w/micrometer adjustment and Sinclair Die Lock Rings - adjust seating in thousandths, and the lock ring keeps the die adjusted for the press and doesn't rick boogering up the threads

Sinclair Neck Thickness Tool - simple and fast

Bore Tech Cleaning Rods - seriously, I've had Deweys fail to rotate with tight patches which does not happen with Bore Tech

Rockchucker - No problems for the last thirty years, nuff said

Dillon 650 XL - it works, period. it guaranteed no matter what forever period. it loads a buttload of ammo

Lee Factory Carbide Crimp Die - the last step for loading straight walled cartridges, no "coke bottle" rounds and the loaded ammo will gauge, and it works better than any other crimp die

Mitotoyo calipers and mic's -

My "list" can be summed up easily, "Quality Tools and Equipment".

Buy good stuff to begin with and never look back. The price is nothing compared to the "cost" of buying cheap crap to start and then having to replace it along the way.

Chargemaster 1500 combo is on the top of my list, and up here in Canada it cost me a arm and almost a leg. But worth every limb.

Hornady Headspace and bullet comparators.

Next on my "must buy" list are a couple of the Giraud Tri-way trimmers, because I'm sure it's gonna be another piece of reloading equipment I wish I bought long ago

Japanese made Mitutoyo Calipers I inherited from my dad.

What is the advantage of those funnels with a long tube over just a cheapo standard funnel?
They settle the powder in a case so you avoid compressed loads. Pour the powder in slowly, and it settles nicely in the case.

I was having trouble with IMR-4064 in a .308 Win case until I got the funnel with a long drop tube.

Lee Universal Decapping Die
K&M Neck Turning Tool (turning case necks is a breeze with this tool and a benchtop lathe)
Forster Coax Press

. . . . my top three.

#1 RCBS Precision Mic- to measure CBTO and base to datum point
#2 Hornady concentricity gauge- to measure bullet runout and the ability to quickly check if when a procedure is changed, if it produces runout.
