best primers for 30BR

Hi everyone; flexible here. I'll be having a new rifle built soon; a combo of 30BR and 6mm Dasher.
I'm slowly assembling components and ordering ahead of time because some of the items are on backorder.
I have 1 # of H4198 and on wait lists for 8# containers.
What primers are best? I'm leaning towards CCI Magnum 450 small rifle or CCI BR4.
All suggestions are welcome and of course I'll be talking to my rifle smith.

The benchrest equipment lists show pretty much everyone using either BR4's or 205M's.

Good luck finding any H4198. It's been unobtanium for several years now. Most guys I know have moved on to N130 or LT-30.

I use standard 205’s, in my 30BR, 6BRA, and 6PPC.

For my 30BR's and 6PPC's & Lapua SRP .308 Win Federal 205M, then 205, then still have a few Wolf remaining as well.

After testing all 3 of the CCI and Fed 205M my 30BR liked the BR-4 best.

My first 30BR liked Rem 7 1/2 with H4198, but I don't have enough of that powder left to bother with. The new rifle will get tested with N130 and BR4's.

Most people are using 205's i think, doubt that it makes much difference which you use. Go to vv130 on powder and forget h4198 unless you have a large stash. Buy a good custom bullet and you should be set

When I first started with the 30BR, I got sightly better velocity from the BR-4s versus the 205s. Equal accuracy. Have stayed with the BR-4s. Too lazy to retest.

BR4 and 205M both shoot well for me. I think I prefer the BR4 as well.

thanks everyone; great advice. Looks like I'm actually in pretty good shape.
I have CCI BR4's (for the 30BR) and CCI #450 Small rifle magnum (for the 6mm Dasher).
I have Berger 105 Hybrid bullets on order for the Dasher and still researching the bullets for the 30BR - probably BIB bullets. I also ordered some N130.
