Best Powder and Availability for 6.5 Creedmoor Reloads

Folks,
I am brand new to this forum and appreciate your assistance in advance. I reload for my 6.5 mm Creedmoor and use Hodgdon H4350. However it is almost impossible to find now days. I am looking for a best replacement powder. Anyone with experience using other powders with this load and can you share your experience?

On a separate note I am looking for 6.5mm ELD-X bullets as well if you know where any can be found.

Thanks to each of you for taking time to reply. I'll continue looking for H4350 but I'm going to look into Reloader and 4831sc. I have a Ruger 6.5 and truly enjoy shooting it. I'll build a 300 winmag at some point in the near future as well.

Without giving away copywrited info, the Hornady manual has some good info for 6.5 creedmoor; and would recommend the following powders, in addition to those mentioned.

AA4350, Imr4350, superformance, rl-17, varget, h100V, win 760. Bullet weight will depict charge weights and selection.

Hogdon 100V hybrid is working great with 140gr Berger hybrids, 24" barrel 2800fps, 42.5gr, near 100% case fill at my BTO seating. Still working up seating depths but got one 3 shot group at 100yds measure 0.084MOA. I think it has potential. I also will start testing IMR 4451 this weekend.

I have used IMR4895 with mixed results .... trying to find something because H4350 wasn't available. It was "OK" with 130 grain bullets. But in the end, H4350 beats everything else overall with the 130 & 140gr bullets. Yes, you can load other powders (I have used 4064 as well as RL17 and a few others) but the accuracy and especially the reduced velocity wasn't what I wanted to see.

Reloading for my 6.5CM guns, I've primarily use RL17 since it gives a bit more FPS as opposed to loading with H4350. Pushing 130gr VLD in my AR and 140gr VLD in my bolt gun. Accuracy has been sub 1/2 moa in both. As for temp sensitivity I have not see any difference between them.

ha ha, I almost forgot.

Heres a 'group' from my DPMS AR. Straight out of the box upper, 39.8gr H4350 gives 2630fps with cci200 and Sierra 142 loaded to 2.790"

I'm on Hornady brass reload #7, and with this load, I'll lose the brass in the weeds before the necks or primer pockets loosen.

Looks like I need more practice too. (first shot was low, last shot was high)

Edit, 100y distance, the BC stick target is a 1" center circle.

Glad to see another loader having good results with Hornady brass. Although I do use Lapua for a couple of other rifles, I am getting the same longevity as you with Hornady in my Creedmoor. The folks who have problems with Hornady are running loads way hotter than this. I load almost the same charge as you in my bolt gun and am very pleased.

I got IMR 4350 which is a little easier to find. Velocity and ES were slightly better with IMR so got 8 lbs.

Just watch your pressures in summer heat if your loads were developed in milder temps. IMR4350 is definitely temperature sensitive. Not as bad as other powders, but there is a noticeable change.

For both bolt and gas 6.5CM I been using RL19 with great results. Just watch your ammo and try keeping it in a cool spot.

I don't reload for the Creedmore yet, but I've found that IMR4451 works great as a replacement for H4350 in several cartridges that I do load for.
