Best Place to go shoot Prairie Dogs

Can some of you give me some hunt info me and a couple of my friends are planning on going prairie dog hunting next spring and i was wondering if of you can tell me the best places to go and some of the guides that you recomend

I wish I knew. My place of the last 13 years turned to crap this year as so many hunters were there before us.

The P-dog shootin out were in cental WY has been great this year. Ive got about 500 so far and as i find time to get out there and do it i`ll get more... it`s better to wait till late spring to go hit the poodle patch though, early spring all the pups are still in the ground nursing so theres not as many to shoot but wait a month and you get mass carnage. the closest p-dog town to me is about 10 miles but twards Casper WY theres millions, just find some good BLM land and have at her. hope this helped...SHOOT SAFE

I had a phone conversation with 2 people, and apparently there was a sylvatic plague outbreak from south of Newcastle to the souhwest corner of the Pine Ridge Reservation in S.D.

We did OK north of Murdo but will try Wyoming next year.

rosebud has lots of dogs if you can get through the guide BS. Lots of guides don't know poop from fat meat. One thought 2 guys could shoot for 3 days on a little 20 acre town. I talked to a lady at Roselbud, and she said get references, lots of guides, not so much expertise.
