Looks like you could just mix up some charcoal, sulpher and salt peter and be good to go!

I used IMR4895 with 150 grainers when I was shooting the 7MM08... Enjoy

In my 7mm-08 i started with some older Remington brass and it loved IMR 4350 and Nosler BT and Partitions. I changed to Lupua brass and that changed my entire load. Varget was the powder of choice and not IMR 4350 anymore. Go figure. But what has been previously mentioned, IMR 4064, VARGET, H4895, IMR 4350, etc should work. I shoot Varget and 140 Partitions in mine. I like having a little stouter bullet for the hog factor.

My hunting loads with a 24" barrel are 140 ABs or 140SGKs over MR2000 at about 2900.

I couldn't get enough H4350 in the case to get where I wanted to be, so I didn't test much with it. Figured the usual 308 suspects (Varget et.al.) would be a bit on the fast side.

There are some powders out there today that weren't around 6 yrs ago when I worked up my hunting loads.

I'm hearing good about 6.5 Staball for the 7mm-08.
Ramshot Big Game is supposed to do well, i never tried it due to unavailability in my area.

I did try RL16. Very bulky. Crunching kernels with 140gr Ballistic Tips. That at 2.895" COAL.

Drop tube. You could probably make it to ~48-49 gr at that OAL.

I've tried only 3 powders in the 7mm08... Varget, H-4350 and W-760/H-414.

All 3 powders worked really good, but I decided to stick with Varget cause it was just a hair more accurate.
