Best neck Turning tool?

Looking for an easy to use neck turning tool. I only do 2 calbers 6.5 and .308 and it won't be used a whole lot so I don't want to spend alot here. Can someone recoomed one? Sinclair maybe?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I use my Forster trimmer with the neck turning attachment. It is easily adjustable for real fine cuts. I used it to just clean up the necks on my 6.5 WSM cases, and when you are not using it just take it off and still use the trimmer. Forster also sells inside neck reamers to use with the trimmer, it is just like a mini lathe. I own 2 of them, one just set up for my 308.

I have a Sinclair neck turner, and I just bought a PMA neck tuner and Yesterday I used it to turn 100 rounds, and boy was it a pleasure to use. it is a nice size to hold in your hand with rounded corners, and the adjustment it has is micro, the cutter is carbide and twice the thickness and size of the Sinclair. I would highly recommend this to anyone that wants consistent results with easy and accurate adjustments. I give it a 10+

What ever neck turner you get, get a carbide mandrel. Also, I have had and used a turner that was an attachment on a trimmer, and I do not think that it was as precise as those that are not connected to the part that holds the case. If you have a decent lube, a carbide mandrel, and your expander mandrel is the right size for your turning mandrel, it comes down to ergonomics and ease of adjustment. I have Sinclair, K&M and Stiller turners, I use the K&M for finish cuts because it is the one that I have carbide mandrels for. If I had those mandrels for the other turners, they would be fine. Carbide is not available for all turners, so be sure to check so that you have the option of upgrading, if you don't start out with that feature.

I won`t lay claim as to which one is BEST,but i use and like my 21st Century turning tools ALOT!!!!

I LOVE my 21st century tool fitted to the mini-lathe. Very easy, clean cuts. With power it is SO much easier than previous hand turning with the K&M I have. The Titanium nitride-coated expanders and mandrels work really well. With a skim turn on necks you need very little lube on the TiNi turning mandrel -- we've even tried soapy water and it works!

I have the K&N with the power adapter, really easy to use and very accurate.

the only fault I see is that the cutter does not have a 30° angle on the cutter for the neck, but so does many other cutters...

I, too, use the 21st Century lathe setup. And, like Boyd, prefer the thermal stability of carbide mandrels. I use a two cut approach. The first cut eliminates ~90% of irregularity and the second for finish dimension. This enables me to hold ±.0001" neck wall thickness. As Forum Boss said, the lathe and power combination makes this task about as pleasant as is possible.
