I use Permatex cam lube thanks to @gunsandgunsmithing and it takes just a drop, works well on your bolt also.

Get the PMA carbide expanding and turning mandrels and the PMA lube and be done with it. One of those little bottles of PMA lube will turn a couple of thousand necks, and I apply it when I'm expanding and when I'm turning and probably heavier than I need to. My .02. Worth maybe 1/2 that.

I have used Imperial with great success but after I got a pma turner, mandrels and lube I heave never looked further . Great products and a great guy to work with.

I use Speedy’s Super Secret Neck Turning Lube. It is slick and cleans off with alcohol.

I like to use a lube that does not gaul the mandrel and also does not contaminate the powder(which would be no petroleum based product). If It does not contaminate the powder, then you can fire form as the case comes off the mandrel. I fire formed many thousands of 22 & 6 PPC formed from 7.62x39, 223 AI, and 22/250 AI using this method. Not to mention the many 6ppc's over the years from 220 Russian. For this application, Lee is heads and shoulders ahead of the Imperial. I tried about ever kind of heavy oil that could be used. One petroleum product that was the best was the viscosity intensifier used in Shell Motor oil...we nick named it Honey.

Lee Sizing lube that is white, in the tooth paste tube also is a terrific jacket lube for making bullets, Cut 50/50 with water. Leave the lube on your jackets, watch your SD go down to very low single digits.

I use a Q tip, put a dab on the mandrel along the length, run 4-6 cases per minute.

I like a slowish RPM-120 or so.

I just use engine oil and have used bar and cutter lube too. works great. dip the case neck in it and then turn. Then tumble brass with different batch of tumbling media and inspect every case to ensure they are clear of any debris from tumbling. The longer I tumble them the better they get.

Just run out of "sinclair neck turning lube" What else can I use ??? that works as good or better??

Any petroleum oil will work as long as it has decent viscosity. It's been used for over 100 years in industry. Probably the best possible lube. Other stuff may be easier to remove and more convienient. For the last 3 years I have been using a petroleum based hydraulic fluid from AutoZone. $8.00 a quart. I used to work in research for oils and greases.
