Best inside neck chamfer tool

I made my own from a carbide burr, and it's about the same
as the Sinclair VLD hand carbide model.

i am seconding the k&m adjustable...but it is case specific on the adjustment, so for general use lyman ..think it is a vld

Wilson, in conjunction with their case trimmer.
What is your trick to keeping the trimmer aligned with the case? I got bad results using my Wilson trimmer because the OD of the case holders was not consistent. I went back to using a handheld RCBS "rocket ship" tool

I slide the cutting tool out and install the chamfering tool. Never removing the brass from the holder.

This style is unique to K&M as far as I know. The long pin aligns the tool to the primer flash hole. Those flat fingers are fixed to the handle and index against the case mouth to control the depth. The cutting tool is adjusted by a thread inside the handle and then locked in place with the set screw. If you like, you can mount it on a powered station or drive it from threads in the handle.

I only use this when I am being very picky. Carbide VLD style tools are not hard to find and can occupy a station on a motorized case prep center for work when you don't run a three way cutter, which is what I run most of the time.

Made my own and prefer them over others. I have a K&M and a Holland but don't use them much if ever anymore. The newer K&M looks much improved over the original that I have.
