Best F-TR bipod??

I asked this in a different sub-forum and was told this might be a better place to ask. What is the best F-TR bipod?...is it a joypod or something else. I am brand new to F-TR but, many years ago....before the task specific bipods of today, I shot some F-Open.

I used to shoot with the Sinclair bipod with the elevation adjustment when that version first came out. It served me well during my time shooting FT/R.

I have a Joy Pod. I use it for FTR and also Open with my 6BR, which has a GRS Warg stock, for club shoots. Love it.

Joypods are nice, but waiting 6-10 months is a joke when you can have a phoenix in 2 days.

I have owned a Phoenix , Dublin, Joy Pod
Joy Pod X worth the wait
We wait for actions, barrels, etc it is just the nature of top equipment.
Or we all could shoot Remington 700’s and be happy.

Maybe if you have something on hand. If not, it's not. Better to just get shooting with good enough, then wait an entire season. OP said he's brand new.

Agree, order the JoyPod X but in the meantime buy a Phoenix and get to shooting.

Joy Pod if you have a heavy rifle, Phoenix if you light weight rifle. I can not run a phoenix on my rifle as it barely makes it with a joy pod.

Tier One is pretty good. It really depends on your setup and shooting style.

I’ve used the Sinclair and JoyPod/ JoyPod X. JoyPod X is well worth the price and the wait time and worth the upgrade over the standard JoyPod if you find a used one.

Funny story. I was at a match and took my wife. It was in June. She asked me why everyone else had fancy bipods. So I told her I just like mine. She said, You should get one of those and see if it works better. So I thought about it and said what the heck and ordered one.

I plan on coming down in the spring and shooting a match with you guys. I want to drop off a couple rifles with my son. It will give me another chance to shoot a couple X’s on your target.

We have a cement firing line and e-targets now..I know amazing right!
