Best Concealed Carry Holsters?

Give Garrett Holsters a look. I have 8 Silent thunder IWB holsters from them and will not go to any other. Ive spent way to much money in holsters over the years, so now that I found one I know I will like, Ive stuck with them. Great piece of gear!

I ended up getting an eclipse inside the waistband, also a tier1 outside the waistband and just last week got another eclipse for a s&w shield plus appendix carry.

I have a ROSS holster from South Africa, Yaqui slide I've carried for over 20 years. still holds my gun tight to my side and don't let it come loose if I have to run with it!

Great picks , I as carry both inside and out. A good holster in a position that is comfortable for you , allows you to be armed most of the time . I favor the Kore Essential EDC belts , adjusts in 1/4 " clicks , best belt for me and I have a bad lower back. Shoulder rigs weren't so comfortable.

Nothing rides like a quality leather holster. Same pistol... thumb break model and open top. Both with blind slots and Alligator inlay.

Black horsehide IWB. Super comfortable and thin for leather. Stays open for reholstering or you can easily in clip it from your belt and reholster.

I am looking for a new holster for concealed carry. I am currently using a crossbreed holster but the leather is starting to let the gun tip out a little and the kydex part is cracked. I am carrying outside the waistband on right hip and want something that will hold gun tight to my body so it does not show too bad. It is a S&W m&p 2.0 compact. Anyone have any suggestions on holsters that you like.
Check out Witmer Custom Leather. I've run just about everything out there and one thing I've personally discovered is that leather seems to be the best for fit and form to my body. I don't carry large frame pistols on my hip anymore. I only carry smaller frame pistols that fit IWB holsters comfortably. I recently ordered an OWB Witmer Holster that he custom fit for my Glock 43X. It's the most comfortable holster I've used to date. At least for me. I've paid much more money for bigger named leather holsters but didn't get any better fit or finish in a holster. Check out some of his leather holsters. Maybe they'll appeal to you. For me comfort was #1. Nothing worse than always adjusting or feeling discomfort from a hip holster.

I have had several big name leather, was never really happy with any for my 1911 carry gun. Picked a Fobus paddle paddle out of a dealers junk box and it is by far the most comfortable. I would never go back to leather.

I just got the Speed Beez leather pancake holster , very nice holster. Not a bulky holster , molded for the handgun. I'm using it for my S&W 49 snubnose revolver , holds it high , close to the body with a FBI cant. Check it out if your looking for a comfortable , very concealable leather open top holster. Now I covered all the bases for all my carry concealed holsters , IWB & OWB . Was a long trial & error.

Old thread, yes, but still valid today.

I've tried "quite a few" holsters and have found, for me, that some guns do better in different styles of holsters. Milt Sparks VM-2 for various length 1911's have worked better for me than CrossBreed or Alien Gear. MS's Summer Specials do not work for me. I like leather, but I don't let my heart override my brain. The VM-2 does not work for me with a G43X, but is perfect for a G19. Went with a 2A ReV-1 IWB for the 43X, and I really tried to love the leather, but the relationship wasn't there. The 2A is easy on-off with a great belt clip. I have not found a down side to it yet.

Don't get stuck on a maker or material.

Not being as flexible as I once was, I believe a cross draw would be to my liking, as lifting my right arm up to remove a handgun would not be as smooth as a cross draw. To each his own gentlemen..... All cops have a hip draw at about 15 or so degrees forward, but after 80 plus years , That would not be for me , and perhaps not them either....
FWIW... all of the people wanting to do you harm...carry in their pocket and can shoot through their jacket.... if need be.
