What is the best weight bullet for 6GT and 1-7.5 twist. I think FB for out to 300 and BT for farther ranges - just need a weight recommendation.

70 - 80 gr. class out to 300 would probably be a good weight and the 103 - 115 gr. for longer distances. Not to say other weights won't work.

I would shy from anything less than 80 grains in that fast a barrel. I have found in 1-8 even that the 85 to 95's start giving me the best results unless I settle for less than top end loads. They will shoot, but usually a way over stabilized bullet will like the lighter loads over top end velocities. The 105- to 115,, love being driven hard, and where mine shoot the best consistently!
